Local Artists share their skill for a purpose at T&C Surf
HONOLULU (March 6, 2013) - Get an
original work of art that not only carries you through your day,
but also sends a message about helping others.
Back by popular demand, featuring a new group
of Hawaii artists MaryJane Jalei, Kimberly Hug, Tattoo
Artist Neil Porras and Matus lend their talent to T&C Surf for
a special event with TOMS shoes
at T&C Surf Ala Moana Center. The
"Style your Sole" event takes place Saturday, March 23, from 1-4 pm
at T&C Surf Ala Moana Center. TOMS
shoes may be customized only if it has been purchased from T&C
with proof of purchase.
The event is part of TOMS national outreach
campaign that features local artists in various cities around the
world. This will be the second collaboration between TOMS and
T&C Surf. Last year's event attracted a large crowd of excited
TOMS fans to have their pair customized to their preference.
TOMS Shoes was founded in 2006 by Blake
Mycoskie and is based out of Santa Monica,California. TOMS
runs on the model of "One for One," where for every pair of shoes
sold, one is given to a child in need. TOMS Shoes' simple canvas
