| SKATE SHOWDOWN | February 2010 |
Elemental Awareness and T&C Skateboards present "Make it Count" at A`ala Skate Park in Honolulu on Saturday March 6, 2010.The event is part of an international series to compete for a one-year Element sponsorship. The winner at the Hawaii event receives a trip to the Element YMCA Skate Camp and the chance to compete for Element sponsorship. The contest finals will be held June 20 at the Sequoia Lake Element YMCA Skate Camp. Entry fee is one canned food item. All canned food collected from the event will go to local food banks. Registration starts at noon. Contest begins at 1 pm. Element team riders will server as judges, including Mike Vallely, Chad Muska, Jef Hartsel, Darell Stanton, Levi Brown, Chad Tim & Nick Garcia Three zone best-trick contest - jam session format. Two divisons (13 & under) (14 & up / sponsored), plus one high ollie contest on the new Element Ollie Obstacle / open division. Details at ElementSkateboards.com
